Contribute to the COVID-19 archival collection!
The Archives at NCBS is launching a community COVID-19 collection to to document how the campus community members responded in the wake of the pandemic and the subsequent nationwide lockdown. We want to record your experiences and memories of the pandemic. The material you donate will become a part of the institution's history and will serve future researchers in their work.

We've set up contact drop boxes at various locations on campus a few of which are the receptions of NCBS, InStem and Ccamp, the Acad canteen (ELC, near the bank), and Roy's canteen.
Meet us: We'll be in the Acad canteen (Eastern Lab Complex), near the bank, on Tuesdays and Fridays between 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

What can I contribute?
We're looking for any material that reflects your experiences of living and working through the pandemic. This could be:
- Photographs
- Videos
- Audio recordings
- Correspondences in the form of emails, screenshots of text messages, etc.
- Blog posts
- Diary or journal entries
- Social media posts
- Memories and reflections (reach out to us)
- Physical material (paper or lab objects)
Make sure that you are the creator of the material before submitting. If there are other people involved in the creation of the material, do take their permission.
Oral history
We're looking to collect oral history interviews with individuals on campus. We're looking for volunteers who can speak Kannada, as well as other Indian regional languages. If you'd like to volunteer or know someone whom we should interview, reach out to us at
