What Are Research Guides? 

Our research guides are intended as a starting point for exploring the growing collections at the Archives at NCBS. We envision these research guides as maps made by archivists and previous users of the Archives at NCBS, showing possible routes to navigate the collections. They offer ways of drawing connections across materials at the archives. Our guides are broadly categorised by subject, geography and themes. 

We wish to remind the user that these guides reflect chosen objects or collections and are by no means exhaustive or representative of all that the archive holds. These are designed to be guides-in-making, intended to be edited as our collections grow. We hope these guides encourage and inspire you to chart your own course in this archive - no matter where your disciplinary home or practice lies. We intend to continue co-creating these guides with other users and researchers and welcome ideas and suggestions for expanding them.
